Install the Excel Add-in

The Sandspit Excel add-in lets you pull Procore data into Excel, prepare it, and sync it back. Install it in one click from Microsoft Marketplace.

Prerequisites

• The Sandspit Procore app installed for your company. See Install the Procore App first
• Microsoft Excel for Windows, Mac, or the web
• A Procore account to sign in with

Install

Click Get it now above, or add it from inside Excel: on the Home tab choose Add-ins, search for Sandspit, and click Add. No manifest file needed.

Either way, Excel adds an Open Sandspit button to the ribbon.

Sign in

1. Click Open Sandspit in the ribbon to open the task pane
2. Sign in with your Procore account
3. Select the project you want to work in

Troubleshooting

• No Open Sandspit button: close and reopen Excel after installing
• Sign-in fails: confirm the Sandspit Procore app is installed for your company (see here) and that you're using your Procore account
• "Add-ins are turned off": your Microsoft 365 admin may need to allow the Sandspit add-in for your organization
