Core Features
Multi-Project Grid
One of Sandspit's most powerful features is the ability to view submittals from multiple projects in a single grid. No more switching between project tabs in Procore.
Overview
The multi-project grid consolidates submittals from all your imported projects into one unified view. This enables you to:
- See your complete workload across all projects
- Identify items requiring attention regardless of project
- Compare submittal progress between projects
- Take bulk actions across multiple projects
Power User Feature
This is especially valuable for project managers, architects, and anyone who works across multiple projects simultaneously.
Adding Projects
To add more projects to your multi-project view:
- Go to Settings → Projects
- Browse your available Procore projects
- Click Import on the projects you want to add
- Wait for the initial sync to complete
Once imported, submittals from the new project will automatically appear in your grid alongside existing data.
Project Limits
The number of projects you can import depends on your subscription plan. Check your plan details for limits.
Project Columns
When viewing multiple projects, you'll want to see which project each submittal belongs to. Add the Project column to your view:
- Click the Columns button in the toolbar
- Check Project in the column list
- Drag the column to your preferred position
The project column shows the project name and can be used for sorting and grouping.
Cross-Project Filtering
Filters work across all projects in your grid. This means you can create powerful views like:
- All my action items — Ball-in-court items across all projects
- All overdue submittals — Everything past due, regardless of project
- Specific spec sections — All concrete submittals across all jobs
You can also filter to specific projects when you need to focus:
- Open the Project filter
- Select one or more projects
- Only submittals from selected projects will appear
Project-Specific Views
Need to focus on just one project? You have two options:
Use the Project Filter
Select a single project in the project filter to temporarily focus your view.
Save a Project Filter Set
Create a saved filter set for each project you frequently focus on:
- Filter to the single project
- Add any other filters you commonly use
- Save as a filter set named for the project
This gives you one-click access to switch between project-specific views while maintaining the ability to see everything together.
