Build your Procore forecast in Excel.
Procore's manual forecast is set one budget line at a time. Sandspit pulls every line item into a single flat grid you can bulk-edit, then syncs the Forecast to Complete back to Procore.
Today, the forecast goes in one line at a time.
Manual Forecast is one of Procore's Forecast to Complete methods. On a budget line, you add forecast line items with a quantity and unit cost, and they sum to the line's remaining cost. There is no bulk editor, so every line is set by hand.
- Forecasts are entered one budget line at a time, in the Forecast to Complete panel.
- Each line item needs a description, quantity, unit, and unit cost.
- A single project carries dozens of budget lines, each forecast by hand.
- It is redone every month as the outlook on the job changes.

Forecast to Complete, per line
Every forecast line, every budget code, in one editable sheet.
Procore stays the system of record. Sandspit pulls the manual forecast line items into a single Excel sheet, so updating the forecast is spreadsheet work: change a column, fill down, done. When you are finished, sync the changes back to Procore.
- Pull every manual forecast line item into one flat grid, across all budget lines
- Bulk-edit quantities and unit costs with fill-down; amounts recompute
- Create, update, and delete line items in one sync back to Procore
- Row-level validation and per-row sync results, so you see exactly what posted

All budget lines, one sheet
The fields Procore's Itemized Manual Entry tracks: budget code, budget description, forecast description, quantity, UOM, unit cost, amount. Amount = quantity × unit cost.
Itemize the forecast, and it rolls up to the line.
Each budget line's Forecast to Complete is the sum of its line items. Itemize as granularly as the job needs, or drop a single lump sum. Sandspit pushes the line items; Procore rolls them up.
- Itemize a budget line as granularly as the job needs
- Or enter a single lump sum amount for the line

- Document the reasoning in a note that Procore keeps
